Do You Have What It Takes To Be a Champion?

2 Championships in 2 Sports… My son, Ashton, has 2 championships to his name. His first came in middle school as a wrestler and his second came as a senior in baseball. He was city champ in wrestling and his high school baseball team won the state championship. Both stories deserve a little background to appreciate them more. When he started wrestling, the year before his city championship, he was ZERO wins and a lot of a losses. I still remember his first tournament when he lost every match by a lot. And the “other” information they shared I forgot some of that. That’s how it really goes isn’t it? We listen really well to some things and we tend to … Continue reading

Habits that are adding incredible value to my journey I woke up early this morning with monkey brain rolling. My predominate thought was gratitude and how blessed I am in so many ways. My secondary thought was about what habits and/or practices that are part of my life that have helped me get here. So I thought I’d share a few habits that have added, and continue to add, incredible value to my life journey. Responsibility for My Development Without question the greatest habit is personal development. Somewhere in my past, I took full responsibility for my personal development. I … Continue reading
